It is a big joke about discussing eradication of global poverty in this 21st century with boring reports. There is an easy way to eradicate global poverty. Implement GOPAC 2015 proposal of an additional Technical Audit for Government funded constructions. gopacnetwork.org/Docs/PositionPapers/PP_GTFPO_Construction_EN_Web.pdf. There is a possibility to salvage the present avoidable loss of US $ 4 Trillions per year. Approx. equal to US $ 1.50 per day per person of the TOTAL WORLD POPULATION OF SEVEN BILLIONS. More than enough to eradicate global poverty. By the way, presently these constructions are audited by Financial Accountants only. This is UNETHICAL as per FIDIC Corruption Statement as Professional doing work for which they do not have the expertise. This Unethical practice is damaging the poor. Why all, the United Nations, World intellectuals, Hundreds of Poverty fighting NGS, Nobel Price Committee.Thousands of medias etc. are missing this big elephant in the room. Do these people are willing to implement the change or go on writing big reports and meetings etc. regarding the eradication of global poverty. The simple reason is, it affects the poor, disadvantaged, vulnerable, living below the poverty line. In fact it is adding insult to injury to poor I was involved in constructions for 40 years, have seen construction frauds first hand, documented same in my published book- Hand Book for Technical Auditors of the Construction Industry(which comes first in Google search). I feel these lecturers are not interested in the eradication of poverty by heart as I feel with a proper functioning Technical Auditing mechanism more than 30% of the loss can be sal-vaged. Thus, the salvaged amount is in excess of US $ One Trillion per year. The combined GDPs of Saudi Arabia and South Africa. With such public funds every year can go a very long way in the eradication of global poverty How long (already decades passed) the world intelligentsia expects us to read this joke?
